Lincoln Glen Church hosts Community Forums to help address issues that people in San Jose are wrestling with. We bring a panel of people with compassion, expertise, wisdom & practical resources to equip you to navigate these challenging issues.
Watching loved ones age can be difficult. It also comes with endless questions. When do you take their car keys away? Is it time to move to a care facility? Is this dementia or forgetfulness? How do we navigate insurance? Our panel of experts will be sharing wisdom, resources & practical advice to help you as you help your loved ones. They will also be taking your questions!

Former Senior Living Facility Executive Director Loren brings a vast amount of knowledge and expertise with his 30+ years of serving seniors. Loren combined compassion for seniors & a knowledge of how to help them navigate the confusing system for seniors. He has improved the lives of countless seniors.
Evelyn Lax | Panel
Certified Administrator & Dementia PractitionerEvelyn Lax is a bilingual (English and Spanish) RCFE Certified Administrator and Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) who serves as the Community Experience Manager at Lincoln Glen Manor. Evelyn is passionate about serving others through leadership, creativity, and community engagement.

M.D., Medical Director of Skilled Nursing FacilitiesDr. Tse is has more than 30 years of experience specializing in managing complex medical conditions, promoting overall health & wellness. He is well acquainted with the needs & struggles of illness and aging. He is affiliated with Regional Medical Center and O’Connor Hospital.

Diane has years of experience serving seniors, including overseeing seniors in assisted living. She supports family members through a Dementia Care support group and a Grief Share group that helps those who have lost loved ones.

Physical Therapist & Director of RehabilitationMichelle earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy over 10 years ago and has been the Director of Rehabilitation at Lincoln Glen Skilled Nursing for over 7 years. She is passionate about helping the aging population maintain their independence through her knowledge, skills and positive attitude.

Tyler will be our host for the evening. He is the pastor of Lincoln Glen Church & serves on the board of Lincoln Glen Manor (a senior living facility in in Willow Glen).

When should kids get a phone? What are the effects of social media on teens? How is AI shaping us? Our panel discussion will offer wisdom & resources for this ever-changing landscape.

Valley Christian Teacher, Fuller Youth Institute & ParentTim brings over 30 years of experience working with teenagers as a pastor and teacher. He has seen technology change over the years and sees the current impact of social media & AI on teenagers.
