Lincoln Glen Church hosts Community Forums to help address issues that people in San Jose are wrestling with. We bring a panel of people with expertise, wisdom & practical resources to equip you to navigate these issues.
Watching loved ones age can be difficult. It also comes with endless questions. When do you take their car keys away? Is it time to move to a care facility? Is this dementia or forgetfulness? How do we navigate insurance? Our panel of experts will be sharing wisdom, resources & practical advice to help you as you help your loved ones. They will also be taking your questions!

Former Senior Living Facility Executive Director Loren brings a vast amount of knowledge and expertise with his 30+ years of serving seniors. Loren combined compassion for seniors & a knowledge of how to help them navigate the confusing system for seniors. He has improved the lives of countless seniors.
Evelyn Lax | Panel
Experience in multiple aspects of senior living facilitiesEvelyn Lax is a bilingual (English and Spanish) RCFE Certified Administrator and Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) who serves as the Community Experience Manager at Lincoln Glen Manor. Evelyn is passionate about serving others through leadership, creativity, and community engagement.

Pastor | Senior Living Facility Board MemberTyler will be our host for the evening. He is the pastor of Lincoln Glen Church & serves on the board of Lincoln Glen Manor (a senior living facility in in Willow Glen).
Diane Eldridge | Panel
Diane has years of experience serving seniors, including overseeing seniors in assisted living. She supports family members through a Dementia Care support group and a Grief Share group that helps those who have lost loved ones.

Parenting is tough & having to navigate how your kids interact with social media & AI may seem overwhelming. There are so many questions. When should kids get a phone? What are the effects of social media on teens? How is AI shaping us? Our panel discussion will offer wisdom & resources for this ever-changing landscape.
Childcare is available for toddlers through 5th grade. We request that anyone needing childcare for this event pre-register by clicking the button below. We have a special event planned for all junior high & high schoolers. Everyone is welcome!
