Welcome! Lincoln Glen has been part of the San Jose community for 70 years. Over the years we have been actively involved in San Jose with many local and outreach ministries. As you explore our site you will see the variety of activities and ministries we have on our campus and out in the community.
We want our church to be one that brings glory to God and our Savior Jesus Christ. We also want this to be a growing and caring community, where you will find support and hope – not judgment.
This is a church designed for and led by imperfect people. If you are looking for perfection, we are not it. However, if you are looking for people who are real and willing to walk together through this life, then, you have found a family!
Our vision is to Love God-Love One Another-Love Your Neighbor. We live in a busy world. Life has many responsibilities and offers us many choices. Work, family, activities and opportunities abound and compete for our time, attention and resources. Because of this, we have adopted a simple strategy to accomplish our vision-simple, but not easy.
We encourage everyone to prioritize three things each week:
1-Celebrate God’s love together with others who love Jesus. We affirm the need for all followers of Jesus to gather to celebrate what God is doing amongst us. We spend time together learning more about God’s amazing love fo us. We study God’s Word and have the opportunity to express our love for Him through worship.
2-Meet regularly with a Life Group for mutual encouragement. We affirm the need for all followers of Jesus to be a part of a smaller “Life Group” where friendship, love, and confidentiality are nurtured. Our goal is to care for one another while processing and exploring ways to apply the things we’re learning into everyday life.
3-Influence someone with expressions of God’s love. We affirm the need for all followers of Jesus to use their gifts and resources in service to others and our community. Our deep desire is to encourage and assist one another in helping those who are struggling and may be unaware of what it really means to be a follower of Jesus.
